Crown Lifting and Pruning of Protected Trees

The client contacted Planning By Design regarding proposed garden improvement works within a residential property.

Following an initial planning appraisal, it was identified that the works involved trees protected by a Tree Preservation Order (TPO), requiring formal consent from the Local Planning Authority.

One of our planning consultants prepared a Tree Method Note and Works Schedule Assessment to support the application, demonstrating that the proposed pruning works were limited in scope and would not adversely affect the health, appearance or long-term viability of the protected trees.

Following submission of the application and supporting documentation, consent was granted for the proposed tree works.
