Creation of a Dropped Kerb and Vehicle Crossover

The client approached Planning By Design regarding a proposed creation of a dropped kerb and vehicle crossover at the front of the property, to allow the client to park his vehicle off the road. This, along with the reduction of the boundary shrubbery at the front of the property, will allow the use of the front garden – that is already paved, and has been so for a number of years, into a driveway.

Following a planning appraisal with one of our chartered town planners, it was determined the project was feasible and would require full planning permission.

One of our chartered architects prepared the required architect drawings, which the client approved. Following approval of the drawings, one of our chartered town planners prepared the required Planning, Design and Access Statement, to justify why the council should approve the planning application. With the client's approval the planning application has been submitted, together with the drawings and Planning, Design and Access Statement.

Planning permission has now been approved for creation of a dropped kerb and vehicle crossover at the front of the property.
