The client contacted Planning By Design regarding the proposed conversion of the existing dwellinghouse to two, two-bedroom flats. The property is a two-storey semi-detached dwelling faced in pebble dash render with a tile roof. A garage has been added to the side of the property. The property sits within a run of similar semi-detached properties of the same age and design.
Following a planning appraisal with one of our chartered town planners, it was determined that the project was feasible and would require full planning permission.
One of our chartered architects produced the required architect drawings, which the client approved. Following approval of the architectural design, one of our chartered town planners prepared the required Planning, Design and Access Statement, to justify why the council should approve the application. With the client's approval an application for full planning permission for conversion to flats, together with the architect drawings and Planning, Design and Access Statement has been submitted.
Planning Permission has now been approved for the conversion of the existing dwellinghouse to two, two-bedroom flats.
