Retrospective Conversion of Cattle Shed to Dwelling House

The client contacted Planning By Design regarding a retrospective planning application for the conversion of a cattle shed into a dwelling house. Following a planning appraisal with one of our chartered town planners, it was determined that the project was feasible and would require a retrospective planning application. One of our chartered architects produced the required architect drawings, which the client approved. Following approval of the architectural design, one of our chartered town planners prepared the required planning and design and access statement, to justify why the council should approve the application. With the clients approval a retrospective application for full planning permission for a conversion to flats, together with the architect drawings and planning statement has been submitted. Retrospective planning permission has now been approved for the conversion of a cattle shed into a dwelling house, which means the client will now not need to restore the property to its original state.
