The client approached Planning By Design regarding conversion of a chapel (commercial) into a 3-bedroom dwelling. The site is a terraced property and has one level at present, with the most recent use being commercial. It is located within a residential setting with the majority of the two-storey terraced dwellings. The site does not appear to be associated with a conservation area or any landscape designation areas, and is also not a listed building.
Following a planning appraisal, one of our chartered town planners confirmed this is feasible and would require full planning permission to change the use.
One of our chartered architects produced the required architect drawings and 3D drawings. Following approval of the architect design one of our chartered town planners has prepared the required planning, design and access statement, to justify why the application should be approved. With the clients approval, the architect drawings and planning, design and access statement were submitted with an application for full planning permission.
