Change of Use to MOT Testing and Tyre Centre

The client approached Planning By Design regarding a proposed change of use from mixed class E(G) and class E(G) to mixed B8, class E(G) and suis generis, for an MOT testing and tyre centre. Following a planning appraisal with one of our chartered town planners, it was determined that the proposed change of use was feasible and would require planning permission via the submission of a full planning application. One of our chartered architects prepared the required architect drawings, which the client approved. Following the approved architectural design, one of our chartered town planners prepared the required design and access statement, to justify why the council should approve the application. With the clients approval the drawings and statement were submitted together with a full planning application for a change of use. Planning permission has now been approved to change the use to an MOT testing and tyre centre.
