Change of Use to Medical Practitioners

The client contacted Planning By Design regarding a proposed change of use from a bridle shop to a medical practitioners under use class E. Following a planning appraisal with one of our chartered town planners, it was determined that the proposed change of use to a medical practitioners was feasible. As the proposed change of use was likely to be considered permitted development, a lawful development certificate was recommended as this is the only way to get legal confirmation is lawful and does not require planning permission. One of our chartered architects prepared the necessary architect drawings, which the client has approved. Following the approved architectural design, one of our chartered town planners prepared the required planning statement, to justify why the council should approve the application. With the clients approval the drawings and planning statement were submitted with a LDC application. A certificate of lawfulness has now been approved confirming the new medical practitioners under use class E is lawful.
