Change of Use of the Premises to a Restaurant

The client contacted Planning By Design regarding change of use of the premises as a restaurant premises (use class E).

Following a planning appraisal with one of our chartered town planners, it was determined that the proposed change of use is feasible and potentially permitted development. A Lawful Development Certificate was recommended, as this is the only way to obtain a legal determination that planning permission is not required.

One of our chartered architects prepared the necessary architect drawings, which the client approved. Following the approved architectural design, one of our chartered town planners prepared the required planning statement /evidence to verify application, to justify why the council should approve the application. With the client's approval, the architect's drawings and planning statement /evidence to verify application were submitted with the application.

The Lawful Development certificate for a change of use of the premises as a restaurant premises now has been approved.
