The client approached Planning By Design regarding a proposed change of use from a dwellinghouse (C3 usage) to sui generis for the use of the site as semi-independent supported accommodation for looked-after young people and care leavers (aged 16 and 17 years old).
Following a planning appraisal with one of our chartered town planners, it was determined that the project is feasible and will require full planning permission.
One of our chartered architects prepared the architect drawings, which were approved by the client. Following approval of the architectural design, one of our chartered town planners prepared the required Design and Access Statement, to justify why the council should approve planning permission.
Planning permission has now been approved for the change of use from a dwellinghouse (C3 usage) to sui generis for the use of the site as semi-independent supported accommodation for looked-after young people and care leavers (aged 16 and 17 years old).
