Change of Use from Ground Floor Office to Residential Studio Apartment

The client contacted Planning By Design regarding a proposed change of use from a ground floor office to to a residential studio apartment.

Following a planning appraisal with one of our chartered town planners, it was determined that the proposed change of use was feasible and would require planning permission.

One of our chartered architects prepared the necessary architect drawings, which the client has approved. Following the approved architectural design, one of our chartered town planners prepared the required design and access statement, to justify why the council should approve the application. With the clients approval everything has been submitted with an application for full planning permission.

Planning permission has now been approved for a change of use from a ground floor office to a residential studio.

Following planning permission approval the client also instructed us to produce the building regulations drawings and structural engineering calculations, which can be viewed below.
