60 Ground Mounted Solar Panels and 3 Electric Vehicle Charging Points – Retrospective

After carrying out the work the client contacted Planning By Design to find out whether planning permission was required for a 60 ground mounted solar panels and 3 electric vehicle charging points. Following a planning appraisal with one of our chartered town planners, it was determined that the solar panels are feasible but do require retrospective planning permission, which can never be guaranteed. One of our chartered architects prepared the required architect drawings, which the client approved. Following the approved architectural design, one of our chartered town planners prepared the required design and access statement, to justify why the council should approve planning permission retrospectively. Retrospective planning permission has now been approved for the clients 60 ground mounted solar panels and 3 electric vehicle charging points. Thankfully this means the client will now not need to restore the site to it's original state and is protected from retrospective planning issues and enforcement action indefinitely.
